Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Spielman family today for the loss of their beloved Stefanie (1967-2009).  After a courageous 12 year fight with cancer, Stefanie Spielman past away yesterday at her home  in Upper Arlington.

Stefanie was 30 years old and three months pregnant in 1998 when she detected a lump in her breast. She later miscarried and discovered she had cancer. She survived four bouts with cancer before a fifth recurrence in March. Her dedication as an advocate for breast cancer awareness was remarkable and she’ll be sadly missed.
