John Mayer Rocks

March 13th, 2010 | By Trisha Moore in Uncategorized | No Comments »

One of the most exciting nights for me EVER!!! John Mayer has a reputation for being kind of a jerk; but I gotta say, that after meeting him last night and seeing  him on stage, I would have to disagree. All around great artist/performer, on stage and in person.

Chicken Fried Bacon? Really…

March 12th, 2010 | By Trisha Moore in Uncategorized | No Comments »

Yesterday, I couldn’t resist getting out to enjoy the spring like temperatures, so I joined a friend for a cocktail at Roadhouse 66 on E. Wilson Bridge Road in Worthington. I was turned on to the most flavorful and fattening food experience EVER! Chicken fried bacon with sausage gravy!! Before you turn your nose up my friends, let me just say,  you should experience this creamy and flavorful treat at least once! Share the experience with a friend, only have one piece, and I swear you will become a fan in an instant. Want to try an unusual appetizer? Take a trip to Roadhouse 66 in Worthington and let me know what you think :)

Alice In Wonderland

March 8th, 2010 | By Trisha Moore in Uncategorized | 1 Comment »

Go see it in the theater and see it in 3D! Stunning, fabulous, amazing and fun!! I LOVED it (can you tell? ha) From the elaborate costumes, to the stunning sets and acting, Alice In Wonderland was so much fun; and the fact that Tim Burton put his creepy but cool take on this story classic makes it even better, fresh and modern. Mia Wasikowska is a lovely grown up Alice, Anne Hathaway is almost ethereal playing the White Queen, Helena Bonham Carter is superb as the Red Queen and of course Johnny Depp is the only one who could play the brilliant Mad Hatter; add the list of Alice characters you expect, like Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb, the Cheshire Cat (in stunning gray and electric blue) and the coolest smoking  Blue Caterpillar around, and you are gonna feel like you’ve been transported to “Underland” (as it’s called in the movie) yourself! Don’t miss Alice!!!
