When I was a kid, I absolutely could not stand tomatoes! Now that I’m older, my pallet has broadened, and I’ve developed quite a liking to the red fruit, as well as a number of other foods, like brussel sprouts! In a recent survey, 40 percent of people still don’t like the baby cabbages I adore, 33 percent dislike prunes and 27 percent won’t eat oatmeal. Do you have a food you still can’t eat to this day? For me, it’s still eggplant, try as I have to enjoy eggplant, it’s just not a vegetable I find appetizing, even if it’s burried in tons of marinara sauce! lol…how bout you? Anything you just can’t seem to like no matter how hard you’ve tried?
One of my fondest childhood memories is hopping in the car and taking random rides with my family! Today is no different, no matter how old I get, I’m always excited when I get to spend a day in the car with my parents. This weekend we took a trip to Amish Country and discoverd there is more there than great furniture and food! We came upon Breitenbach Winery on Old State Route 39 in Dover and had a blast sampling their yummy wines and touring their amazing wine cellar. They’re getting ready for the annual Dandelion Festival, so we had the pleasure of sampling their deliciously sweet Dandelion Wine. Looking for a fun day trip in the heart of scenic Amish Country? Take the trip to Breitenbach! You won’t be disappointed.

I”m a girl who LOVES music, I’m a girl who LOVES song lyrics; and over the years, some of my best and worst times have been defined by the music I was listening to at the time. If you want to make a memory, you can make it with a song. We all have our own opinions on music and the words that go with them, some good and some bad, but no matter the opinion, there’s always going to be at least one tune that stands out and makes you think “yeah, this is so me”. Some of the best lyrics have inspired generations year after year….what are some of your favorite lines from a song? I have so many to list, but I’ll keep it at just one for now…a line that fit with a situation in my life recently…
“Maybe this mattress, will spin on it’s axis and find me on yours” - Edge of Desire - John Mayer…add your favorite song lyric/lyrics below…I wanna know what’s inspired you over the years.
Loving their new song “Stylo”…What do YOU think? Makes me want to cruise in my car with the sun roof open and the windows down!
